IN THE STUDIO . . . This is me at The Playground, my recording studio in Salt Lake City, Utah. I believe I was tracking the song "So Funky So Cool" from URBAN PLAYGROUND (a favorite of mine). My drum kit comprises nine drums and 11 cymbals. I've always used kits this size. You just don't have the same musical options with smaller kits.

IN PARIS . . . I love traveling and especially love Paris. "Rain Over Paris," a ballad from LIFE GAMES, captures my love of the city. My music has always been well-received throughout Europe as well as Japan, Australia and South America.
IN LOS ANGELES . . . my brand new album URBAN PLAYGROUND reuites me with my three jazz musician brothers. Here we are playing a gig in an L.A. jazz club back in the day. (L to R: Josh, me, John, James.)
THE BROS . . . Another pic of my and my brothers in Los Angeles. I'm the one in shades. (I've always had a thing for sunglasses.) This was a publicity photo that was taken in Century City.

JOSHUA STEWART . . . When it comes to producing my albums, if I had a right-hand man it would be Josh. He plays all the piano and keyboard solos on both LIFE GAMES and URBAN PLAYGROUND and has also helped me with arranging. Here is a pic of him in studio listening to playback on the song "Ignite the Funk," the opening track on URBAN PLAYGROUND.
TERENCE HANSEN . . . I've known Terence for over 13 years. A true guitar axeman, his amazing technique and musicial versatility never cease to amaze me. Here he is in studio shredding up a solo for "Attitude," a heavy groove-oriented song from URBAN PLAYGROUND.
SAMAY V . . . Here's a pic of Samay in studio during the tracking of "Warlord," a jazz-metal fusion song from LIFE GAMES. Samay has provided production assistance on all my CDs, and he and I gigged together in the same band for seven years.
JAMES STEWART . . . Here's a pic of James powering up the melody for "Midtown Funk" from LIFE GAMES. The song was a Top 10 hit worldwide on MP3.com and was downloaded up to 15,000 times a day. James plays alto and tenor saxophones on both of my CDs.
